Questions & Answers

  1. Ronald J. Wells says:

My PIN number is locked and I cannot contact anyone to unlock it….H E L P ….!!!!!
The phone number required to call says that “no one is available to answer my call.”
and it’s during business hours….what’s going on?…this is unacceptable. I have been calling this number for days…You have two chances to enter your PIN correctly. After that, the PIN is locked. If you forget your PIN, or if you believe that someone else knows your PIN, you will need to enter an incorrect PIN three times in order for it to become locked. Then phone the UI Claims Center (615-253-0800 or 1-877-813-0950) and request unlocking of your PIN. You also have the option to fax (615-253-0808) your request to “Unlock PIN” to the UI Claims Center.

    • Adrian says:

Please note that we are not a govt. organisation and do not have access to your claim information.

Kindly raise this grievance with the labor dept in your state.

  2. james mathews says:

I filed on may 23rd and I got locked out of the system and when I call the number it says I have been approved but today its says due to one of my answers I did not meet eligibility and no one has called me yet and I cant get thru to speak to a live representative, I have a family to take care of.

  3. Jarius Cooper says:

How long does it take to be approve for a claim?

  4. Richie says:

The system says they are a issue with my claim . They have my name and number a email has been sent to their staff someone will contact you. ????????? Don’t understand why nobody has called it’s been 2 week’s almost. I just need to get this resolved life is stressful enough without work thought this would help but just adds more stress. I need help and don’t know what to do.

  5. Nicole Samuelson says:

If your in no position to help, why are my tax dollars paying you? I’m assuming the state of Tn is paying your company to answer our questions, right? The only post I’ve read that is the least bit helpful wasn’t from you it was from another poor person trying to navigate this incredibly pathetic site. It’s like entering the 7th circle of hell. Do you at least pass on our concerns or are you just here to keep us from bothering someone in our great state?

    • Adrian says:

Please be informed that we are not sponsored by any state or being paid by Tennessee for answering you questions.

You must get your issue addressed by the labor dept in your state.

  6. Nicole Samuelson says:

This is pathetic. I’m not even trying to make a claim, just browsing and I’m totally NOT shocked that people are having this much difficulty in filing or continuing their claims. It appears someone from the UI office is reading these emails and I’m assuming it’s so that we, the people, think someone cares, but obviously something isn’t working. So to whomever has the job of reading our emails….Why is it so hard to get something to work correctly? If you ALREADY know there are “issues” filing a claim in TN why isn’t it fixed? PLEASE answer me, I’m dying to hear the excuse.

    • Adrian says:

      I can understand your frustration.

Please note that we are not a govt. organisation or have any association with the labor dept in your state and hence not in a position to answer your question.

  7. Therese O'Neill says:

How can I talk to a person?

  8. joe banks says:

    • Adrian says:

We hear a range of issues from claimants in Tennessee.

Please keep following up by phone for update on status.

  9. Susan Sydnor says:

I filed for UI online Jan. 23rd 2014. I have received details about payment by mail.

It said expected date of payment would be Feb. 14.
Each time I call it says have not been approved yet.
When might I expect approval date??

  10. Barb Comerer says:

What is going on with the certification screen? It is stuck on first week in February. I have my copies of certifying & they all have the same date! I have not received a payment since Feruary 3rd 2014.

  11. michael spencer says:

trying to do weekly certification it want let me been calling for three days and it says cant connect at this time tried 4 different numbers

    • Therese O'Neill says:

I can’t get a PIN, therefore unable to certify weekly. I have called several times and the automated system says I will be contacted in 2 days. This has been going on for 2 weeks and no phone call yet.

      • Adrian says:

  13. Elvis Grady says:

I posted a question last Friday and the response was that I would be contacted within 2 business days. I have not been contacted. The Weekly Certification page will not let me log in.

  14. Ricky L Johnson says:

I was drawing extended unemployment benefits and something I did in the phone weekly certification that caused my benefits to end. I tried using the phone system and it was always the wrong day to call

  15. Sandra Atherley says:

My application for unemployment benefits was deleted and I do not know why. Thanks, Sandra
