There is currently one benefit extension program available (until the week ending December 28, 2013).

Emergency Unemployment Compensation (EUC)

EUC is a 100% federally funded program that provides benefits to individuals who have exhausted regular state benefits. The EUC program was created on June 30, 2008, and has been modified several times. The latest was on January 2, 2013. The eligibility for EUC is determined by federal and state laws. This compensation differs from state to state depending on the unemployment rate.

The maximum number of weeks an individual can receive Emergency Unemployment Compensation benefits in New Mexico depends upon the time each benefit program ends. The following chart shows EUC benefits available in New Mexico -

    My unemployment benefits run out next week. I have been unable to find a job within the 24 week period. Does this mean that unless congress and the senate can come to terms I have no extended benefits available?

    When i applied for an extension told i exhausted my benefits, my income for the months July and September was not calculated in. Can i an extension under the EUC Tier 1. Got a notice in the i could try.

      Currently,EUC is unavailable across US due to expiry.Based on the details you’ve provided,if the letter received is very recent,please contact the claims center before applying.
