You need to call to the telephone hearing before half an hour in order to schedule for hearing notice of the hearing. Note if you do not call and request for hearing, the Appeal Tribunal does not consider your hearing.

If in case you missed your hearing, you need to request hearing in writing where you need to mention the social security number and state to reopen the hearing by mailing to appealtribunal@dol.state.nj.us. You can also fax to 609- 292-2438, or mail to PO Box 936, Trenton, NJ 08625-0936.

You will be notified through the mail when your hearing is scheduled. If the assessment provided by Appeal Tribunal is favorable to you then the Division of Unemployment Insurance will issue the payment due directly. If you are not happy with the decision taken by Appeal Tribunal, you can further file the appeal to board of Review.
