Ohio Department of Job and Family Services have implemented different means to find out false statements that includes unreported earnings. The sources to discover such frauds are:

  • Acquiring new hire details from employers
  • Compares along with the wages covered
  • Provide tips over phone, mail, fax or online through Internet
  • Further cross matches with government reports

If an individual intentionally provides false details with the aim of claiming benefit then it is considered as fraud. You can report the fraud statement by contacting the Ohio state’s fraud hotline over 1-800-686-1555 or through sending a mail to UCBenProtest@jfs.ohio.gov
