How long do I have to wait after my benefits are exhausted before I can start a new unemployment claim?

My benefits, including extensions, have exhausted.  In the last few months, I've worked sporadically, earing about $10,000 before taxes.  Can I file a new claim based on these recent earnings?

You can only get an extension after you have exhausted all regular uc benefits to which you are entitled.

In TN, you can file a new claim after your benefit year ends (BYE). This applies only if you have worked for a company, or yourself, that witheld taxes for UI. Most of the time, if your getting the other stuff witheld such as medicare, federal, FICA etc. chances are the UI is being held out too. So, long as your year has ended you should be able to file again, if you're in TN. That's a year from the date of your initial claim.
