Can you file a hardship claim if you have to move to another state to help care for a elder parent?

Only child of elder parent. May need to be closer to help bring to Dr appointments, bring medicine, help with grocery shopping and general house maintenance.

Unfortunately,personal and voluntary reasons do not qualify.

Please check with the labor dept in your state.
