Can I back-file for UC in PA?
0
votes
I left my job for ethical reasons in 2009 and was unemployed for six months. I never filed for unemployment for that time period because 1) I hoped to rejoin with the company, 2) I didn't think I would get unemployment benefits because I left, and 3) I didn't want the process to bring harm to the company or anyone else involved. Now I am employed at a different company. Can I back-file for unemployment for that six-month time period?

You can ask to back file but now that you are working, I am not sure how far you will get. No penalty for asking or even applying and it is the only way go find out.
