I am working and am able to work, but my employer does not have any money to pay me.   Can I quit because I am not receiving pay and collect unemployement benefits?

Quitting for a compelling reason is one of the few times you can be approved.  You still have to meet other minimum requirements.  Call the local unemployment office for details.
