In case you have earned $50 or less, then there will be no deduction in your benefits. But if you earned over $50 then 75% will be deducted for each dollar you have earned.
It is very essential to report your weekly wage earning even if you are not been paid also. You can report your earning on your bi-weekly claim certification or through online or VICTOR.
The easiest way to calculate your gross earnings is by analyzing how many hours you worked in the week you are claiming (Sunday through Saturday) and multiplying the number of hours worked by your hourly rate of pay. This is your gross earnings. Remember if you worked for more than one employer, you would add the two gross earnings together and report the total on your bi-weekly claim.
