Unemployment benefit duration in Pennsylvania State is measured based on the number of weeks of total unemployment time. Generally maximum week of benefit vary from 26 weeks to 30 weeks and most repeatedly the benefit weeks would be for 26 weeks. An eligible claimant who has less than 18 credit weeks is qualified for 26 weeks, with at least 16 credit weeks. In the phase of credit weeks is a claimant is eligible to earn at least $ 50 in their base year.

Claimants with less than 16 credit weeks are not eligible for any sort of benefits and who are with 16 or 17 credit weeks can claim for 16 weeks of benefits. Applicants with more than 18 weeks of credit are eligible to gain full 26 weeks of benefits.
