Can I claim unemployment while on unpaid maternity leave?

If you are on maternity leave, you are not unemployed there for you shouldn't be able to qualify for unemployment. It really depends on your employer whether you get paid or unpaid maternity leave. As far as I know, you can't get unemployment (pregnant or not)
