TRA or trade readjustment is when positions you most qualify for have "moved". Overseas for example. The best place to start in my opinion is a CareerLink center. When you have exhausted all benefits you may find welfare, community assistance, church, red cross. You may find information about alternative sources at the CareerLink center. Have you worked at all in your current state? You may qualify for state benefits.
