Quitting often makes you ineligible. They will want to know what you did to try and resolve the problem with your employer. Unless there is a written agreement, company policy, or such your employer may not be required to give breaks. If you have only been at this job a short time perhaps you will be approved. There are other minimum requirements too. Better call your local office and give all details to find out.

Is it possible you just went to tier 3? There could be a balance from an old claim or wages that were not used that are now available for the New claim. However the difference in the amount paid to you weekly should not be substantial. However, I do not remember how many weeks on tier 3 and a state claim, though lower, might last longer.

It is up to the Employment Development Department of California to determine for unemployment if you quit your job. You must be qualified for the department's other eligibility requirements before the department will analyze your quit claim.

yes if you would have done the service under military administration. you will be entitled to claim the unemployment benefit. Notice of Claim Filed, DE 1101CZ

sent to the last employer to find out the fact when a UI claim is filed.

Notice of Wages Used for Unemployment Insurance Claim, DE 1545

is sent to base period employers when benefits are paid.

Benefit Audit, DE 1296B

is sent to an employer who reports wages for a social security account number during the same calendar quarter that UI benefits were paid under that social security account number.
