Hired for 32 hrs week being called off

    I work in a dental office. The dentist calls workers off if patients are light that day. I am only going to work 2 days this week. Can't get another part time job don't know when I work or not.

    Not sure if your employment is permanent. If its is contractual, you may not be able to claim unemployment insurance.

    Please inquire further with the labor authorities in your state.
