Question about what state to file unemployment in?

I am a telecommuter and my company's HR office is in New Mexico, but the corporate headquarters is in DC. I live in Nevada. I have been with my company for over 7 years and will be laid off due to the company being sold to another entity. My question is: Do I file unemployment in NV? Are the benefits the same?

    I would appreciate any feedback.

    Thank you!

I guess you must be filing from the state where you reported in terms of your work. Please speak to your HR office and check which state they pay taxes into and you can apply accordingly.
