  1. I filled 12/26/20 never received a wba didn’t hear anything until 3/28/21 I got 10 payments. I reapply got new wba and nothing since March. Nobody can tell me anything other then I’m on a hold

    • Sorry to hear this. My husband just got laid off 7 weeks ago and keeps getting same letter, “you reported a return to work date with no gross wages” Da! Work doesn’t need him anymore, I email them every week, copy the letter they sent, call every week and no one knows anything. I believe. They hired people just to answer phones and give no information. If they are receiving the telebenefits filed you would think that something doesn’t seem right. No wages, no return to work, hmmm, he should get a check. No they send same email every week, never responding to my email either. No one does their job, something is up, I think they are giving our money to the illegals before Americans who work hard.

    • Victoria,

I can understand your situation. There will be a delay considering the number of applications that are being processed. Please continue chasing the office/check your status online at regular intervals until payments normalize.

  2. I HAVE FILED MY WEEKLY REPORTS. I HAVE NOT RECEIVED EARLY ,(7AM) ON SUNDAY MORNINGS FOR 2 WEEKS. I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS FROM YOUR AGENCY.

  3. I have been waiting over 2 months for my benefits and nothing, I have been told over and over again that an agent is working on my claim, I have been told there is no hold on my benefits that im active and still nothing and you can’t get straight answers from anyone on line or on the phone.

  4. I am calling from a business, received a separation notice from the Division of Unemployment Insurance reference to a previous employee. I have been trying to reach 739-5461 all morning (I realize that the department is very busy) – I have hung up and tried every push number button and still have not been able to reach anyone (even sent a fax to 739-6918). There is no button to push to get into contact with anyone for this form. How can I get in contact with someone? The form is asking for information on last period of employment : from 5/01/99 to 9/10/99 (which is 21 years ago). Any help would be appreciated!

      • I have been waiting over 2 months for my benefits and nothing, I have been told over and over again that an agent is working on my claim, I have been told there is no hold on my benefits that im active and still nothing and you can’t get straight answers from anyone on line or on the phone.

  5. I filed for Unemployment and received a Monetary Determination Letter and was told two weeks later that my case was put on hold. That was on September 9th. To date, a representative could not confirm why there’s a hold and my email inquiries have gone unanswered, regarding this. Lastly, there’s no system update and I haven’t received any follow up letters from the Department of Labor. Why is it so difficult for clarity on why there’s a hold?

    • I applied for unemployment benefits in Sept of 2020 they denied me in January of 2021 I applied an appeal in January and have not received anything about appeal it’s now March. They took no time denying me and sending a letter within days now I’m getting nothing you can’t speak to anyone no matter what number you call it’s ridiculous.

    • Mr. Williams,

  6. I have been getting unemployment since April and submitting my claim every week. This week I have not received my payment at all.Whats going on?

  7. I received a letter telling me that my claim status have been placed in an inactive status and that i need to reopen my status to receive benefits. how do i reopen my claim status so that i can receive benefits? I have yet to be able to get in touch with anyone on the phone.

  8. I have sent you an e-mail on Thursday and Friday with no response. I called the 800 number and it says a check was written the 13th (goes into my debit card) for the previous week. But I go to the ATM to withdraw the money and it says I have zero balance. Friday evening I was on hold for over 4 hours with the Creditcard company to be told there is nothing wrong with their card. I have bills due this week which are sitting to be mailed out.

    • Thomas,

Please wait for a response from the office. This is a private forum and we do not have access to the claims system.

  9. How can I speak with a representative? Every number I dial hangs up when asked to hold for a representative!!!!???

      • Does anyone know what to do if you filed for unemployment , and got a confirmation number at the end, and still haven’t received a letter saying yay or nay? I filed in March, and til this day I can’t get anyone on the line I have called hundreds, and hundreds of times each day for 2 weeks, it beeps, and hangs up …I’m wondering if I should go back , and do another application for it?

    • Sandra,

Unemployment Insurance benefits are only extended to those who’re able and available for work. For clarification, please call the Unemployment Office.

    • Please call the Unemployment Office in your state to determine the eligibility if it’s a temporary layoff from work and apply for benefits accordingly.
