Indiana Unemployment Office Locations

The WorkOne Center is the heart of the workforce development system. It’s where WorkOne staff help people find a new or better job, choose a career, access training or get the information needed to succeed in today’s economy.

In addition, the WorkOne Center also helps you determine if you are eligible for unemployment insurance benefits.

  1. I manage a company in Indiana. We are an essential manufacturer. An employee walked off the job today and claims he was able to qualify for unemployment and has already rec’d a check. He also claims the check is equal to his normal take home pay. I am trying to prevent other employees from walking out without all the facts. What incentive do my employees have to work if this is true???? Tried calling and gave up after a 3+ hour hold time.

  2. I can get them to call me back.I tried to sign up for unemployment it keeps saying user on file with my ssn. What can I do.

    • Gerard,

It looks like your SSN is already registered. Please call the Claims Center. If the phone lines are busy, please try during off-peak hours or visit their website to explore further.

  3. I had to move from Texas to be with my mom and had to give up my employment there. Is it possible I can draw unemployment benefits.

    • Deborah,

You will not be eligible since unemployment insurance is only extended to those who become unemployed due to involuntary reasons.

  4. if I am collecting ui from il. but it is not as much as I would from in. can I stop the il. ui and apply in Indiana.i have only received benefits from the end of july.

    • Well, you will not be able to do that as far as I am aware.

Please call the Unemployment Office in your state for further details.

  5. I WORK 3 DAYS A WEEK. I DO MAKE ENOUGH MONEY TO QUALITY. IF I LOOSE MY JOB BECAUSE THEY DON’T NEED ME ANYMORE BECAUSE THINGS ARE VERY SLOW CAN I DRAW UNEMPLOYMENT IF I AM DRAWING SOCIAL SECURITY AND SUVIVORS PAY FROM CIGNA AND FERDERAL RESERVE FROM A INSURANCE POLICY MY WIFE HAD THROUGHT THE FEDERAL RESERVE BANK BEFORE HERE DEATH?

    • Drawing multiple government provided benefits can have a say in your eligibility to draw UI compensation.

Please call the Unemployment Office in your state for further details.
