  1. My unemployment ended when the Federal cut last check on the 26th. President Trump extended unemployment @ $ 300.00 weekly. What do I need to do , if anything at all to continue receiving my unemployment benefit?
    Ricky Ray

  2. My claim says I will not be paid due to an unresolved issue with my recent employer. But my claim is effective until 10/04/2020. And I have a balance of 4000 left to claim. I’m not understanding.

  3. Are we able to apply for unemployment at an unemployment office? The website doesn’t seem to be working for me.

    • John I was working and I got sick I got heart failure my employer fired me cause I was sick in 1991 unemployment over paid me a week I sent in for my unemployment but I cant get it until I pay 400 dollars I cant work and I filed for disability I’ve been off work for 2 yrs can yall not take that 400 off what I got coming

      • Steve,

UI benefits are only provided to claimants who lose employment due to no fault of their own (they should also be available for work).

  4. How come no one answers phones on the 800 number and have you closed the offices on 6128 E 38th Street, Suite 405
    Tulsa, OK 74135

  5. My husband lives in Arkansas but worked in Oklahoma. He filed for Oklahoma unemployment, every time he tries to call the interstate number to try and get information about his case no one answers. If we drive to the nearest Oklahoma unemployment office will they help us? We are located in Arkansas.

    • Jonnie,

I suggest you try and explore the official website for answers. You might also be able to find additional phone numbers.

    • Jim,

As much as I am aware, the entire process should not take more than 10-15 working days. Please call the Unemployment Office for precise information.

  6. I tried to apply and got turned down well a few months ago i tried to get unemployment and it said i had a unclaimed amount so how do i get that money…And still confused when ive been turned down every time ive applied

    • I was on the phone waiting for someone to answer and to my surprise, it had been 2 1/2 hours and the office closes at 4pm so I started calling at around 1:30pm .no answer.

  7. My friend worked in Tulsa OK, but lives in Pittsburg KS, in which state would he file for his unemployment?

  8. I have been with the same company for 8yrs, they got bought out in April 2017, now in July 2017 they want to cut my pay in half, can I resign my position and be eligible for unemployment? Is this even legal?

    • Laura,

If you resign voluntarily, it may go against you when you file for UI benefits. Before doing so, please consult the authorities by calling the Unemployment Office.

  9. I was hired full-time while pregnant and two weeks before I had my baby I went down to part-time. took my 6 weeks leave when I tried to come back my job wasn’t available now they just called me as a fill-in when they need me would I be available for unemployment?

    • Please check with the Unemployment Office in your state since each state has its own rules in this regard.

You can call the Customer Service on the phone numbers provided.

  10. I recently got out of the hospital after being treated for blood clots. I am a truck driver by trade and am now not allowed to drive a commercial vehicle. Can I file for unemployment until either I find another type of work or am medically qualified to go back to work as a truck driver?

    • You will not be eligible since unemployment insurance is only extended to those who become unemployed due to involuntary reasons.

Unfortunately, personal reasons such as health are not considered.

  11. I was due for an evaluation and raise in May 2013, I have reminded my supervisor and the Ceo of our company. This is the end of July 3013 and my evaluation still hasn’t been done. Could I voluntarily quit my job and collect unemployment for that reason?
