Proof of self employment was not accepted and not given a reason why. I sent bank statements and merchant invoices just like it said to on the page for acceptable forms of proof.
Calling the toll free PUA # is a joke. Is there an office where I can get help on person. I’ve been waiting for them to fix my claim now for 8 weeks. No one at PUA ever answers the phone. I need help and don’t know what to do.
I have been on hold now for 8 days straight. Yesterday I held for 10 hours and didn’t talk to a single person. It’s absolutely ridiculous!!!
The website doesn’t work. The phone number won’t even ring, much less get you a person. Your unemployment system is a complete JOKE set up to screw with people! FIX YOUR SHIT!
Self employed. Uploaded weekly forms, and when I checked online, didn’t see a record of them. Reuploaded and got notification that I had to resign up. Went to re resign back up and was told I was unable to. Frustrating. Tried calling untold times, with the same problem as everyone else, can’t get hold of anyone.
Are you filing for PUA or reg U I benefits cuz all the phone lines are busy but you just keep calling and you will finally get through call before 2 cuz that way you will get through that day cuz I’ve waited on hold and when it turned 6 it hung up on me and hey my name is Gina Chapman look me up on Facebook and I will help you I’ve worked in the secretarial industry so I have some skills in this l
Christopher,
I can understand your situation. There will be a delay considering the number of applications that are being processed. Please continue chasing the office/check your status online at regular intervals.
I sat on hold for 4 hours and nobody ever picked up the phone I am getting tired of waiting I need someone to contact me from the employment office but nobody is answering their phones this needs to be dealt with because they have cancel my claim that was not supposed to be canceled and they never called me back or told me to where to send information if anybody knows the correct number that will get me a live person and not the bullcrap automated service that gives me the same numbers that always get a big c signal I’d appreciate it
1 833-410-1004 is this the number you called cuz you need to call before 2 p. m. To make sure you get through that day. The unemployment office is swamped and they are doing the best they can with what they’ve got and I assure you they will be more then willing to help you as soon as you get through just keep dialing it over and over until you finally get through and follow the prompts. I had trouble at first as well until I took some time and went to the website and read the frequently asked questions and it gave me all the answers I needed.

Jenea,
Please wait for a day or two for the authorities to change the system in line with the recent announcements.
Lately Social worker from St. Vincent De Paul advised me so, till then did not know it.
Please provide elaborate details of your query.
Ok.so , to start , I guess the first issue would be the 48 checks that unemployment kept sending to wrong address, also even tho direct deposit was set up , so I never received any chcks from you guys in the time period issue is in ,. So with unemployment keeps sending checks to wrong place I never received, this issue ended up to be one of the reasons I lost my home ,and I’m now currently homeless for almost a year ,thank you. But was told this would be fixed because I have shown , signed and proved everything on my part . Started dealing with some one named Britney from escalatetions abd that has been zero help for past couple months. Its been 4 months sense I have been able to get through to any one why is that ? This is probably the 20th contact us I have filled, just the documented ones. Ok so second issues you guys were asking for certain records which I proveded even though I lost my house and all my records of everything because you guys were sending all these checks to wrong places so I lost my house and belongings because of you guys , So…then was told hey it will be fine our apologize s LOL …… And your benefits will not be cut off , . Today I received a letter saying they were cut off , So……
since December,2014, i lost my job. Am I entitled for Unemployment benefit?
Working since 2001 or so for Ashland Food Coop, in Ashland Oregon. I am citizen of USA since 2004.
Please note you must have employment in the last 4 calendar quarters as they consider this period to determine eligibility. You must have applied immediately after being laid off back in Dec 2014.
