Can I receive benefits,in Illinois, if pay was decreased by $700.00 and now being put on a 32 hoour week.

My company has made pay cuts and now reduced us to working 32 hours a week. $1,150 per month cut in pay. Can I file for unemployment benefits to make up some of the difference?

Generally the answer is yes. There are other basic requirements, but the reduction in hours is one reason unemployment benefits would be paid.
