I live in Washington state but work (telecommute) in New York. My company considers me a part-time employee (not an independent contractor) without a fixed schedule. I have consistently been assigned ~30 hours per week in work over several years. Due to declining business my actual hours worked have decreased to about 10 per week. I have not been officially told my hours are being cut, I've just had fewer work assignments.
Would I be eligible to quit due to reduced hours and still collect unemployment?
