My boss was recently "retired" and the person they placed me under tried nothing short of trying to squeeze me out due to my age and my pay rate. I was making $32.00 per hour and they cut it to $22.00 per hour. They determined that my job that I had been performing as Dealer Development Manager no longer held value. This cut in pay equals a net loss per month of $1400,00. Can I receive any type of supplement from unemployment for this loss. They found a different job for me at the same company which I did take - at this lower rate of pay. I did lodge a written compalint to HR and the information surrounding the whole ordeal. I have worked at this company since 2000.
