What eligibility requirements are needed to qualify for unemployment in the state of Kansas for Government forced furlough days?

This is for the federal government.  I get paid bi-weekly and I have forced furlough 2 days of the 2 week pay period.

You do not say if you are federal, state, or local.  Some federal employees are prevented from collecting if they earn too much in the week of the furlough.  But in KS it is possible you will qualify for the shared work program, depends on "who" pays the unemployment taxes on your earnings.

Though KS allows partial claims, if you earn 60% of your normal wages in a week you are missing 1 day, I think you will have earned too much to collect a partial.

A CNN article reported a federal employee union contract that allowed them to group their missed days in a time frame to sufficiently reduce their income so that they qualify.  Perhaps you need to talk to your union.
