I have been collecting UI after being let go a year ago .  A few months ago I realized my disability (which occurred a year ago) would not allow me to work fulltime and so I continued collecting but shifting to apply for more sedentary part time positions.  I also applied for SSDI.  I have not been offered anything and just received my SSDI award.  Honestly was not expecting to hear anything from SS until maybe the fall or winter when UI would run out.  What is Mass. standing on it?  I am attempting to work at least part time but not being offered anything(due to my age and overexperience)  I do not want to be greedy and double dip but also don't want to leave money on the table.  My fear is having to pay back UI benefits which is significantly more than SSDI.

To avoid trouble it is best to advise unemployment and seek advice from them.  This website is not affiliated with any unemployment office.  I do not think you have to worry about the time you were collecting only unemployment.  I would ask about receiving both.
