How is it determine how much I would be paid for benefits based on full time pay from working 10 years at a company.

You can file for unemployment the very first week of reduced hours. They will go back 5 completed quarters and use the wages in the first 4 to determine the benefit amount. It is possible to receive the first check within 2 weeks of filing.
