I moved to Massachusetts for a job paying 900.00 a week. and after 91/2 weeks was laid off. I qualify under the alternate base period. My weekly wage was calculated by dividing my earnings by 13( weeks.)  because of 2 or less quarters with income.
I worked in California for a total of 51 hours over a 4 week time period (in my first quarter) at min. wage. making a total 560. 00. if they include my California wages they calculate it by 26 weeks instead of 13.because that has me earning money in 3 quarters.  and it lowers my weekly benefit from 276.00 to 166.00.can I choose not to include my California wages in my Massachusetts ui claim?

We suggest that you remain  transparent in filing your paper work. I understand that it lowers your comp amount substantially, but its important that you present the data clearly on previous employment.

Please speak to a claims rep from the Massachusetts and see if they have any provisions to bridge this gap.
