my company sold to another company and demoted me and cut my pay can i collect if i refuse the job

im currently general mager in my company full time been working 8 months the new company offered me a position but it was for assistant manager and was 8,000 less per year if i decline this job offer will be able to collect benifits

You will not be able to collect UI benefits in this case.
The Federal-State Unemployment Insurance Program provides unemployment benefits to eligible workers who are unemployed through no fault of their own.
Check with your state authorities for exceptions in this regard.
