my employer will no longer guarantee 40 hrs a week next year.  when work is completed we will be sent home. can I collect partial unemployment for the hours that are lost? if so, what is needed to file and how is that amount computed.

You are eligible to claim partial unemployment under the PA state laws with certain exceptions for the hours lost.
