I reside in Michigan.  My EUC claim ran out in December.  I filed a new claim online.  In December before EUC ran out (collecting due to winter layoff with return to work date) I temporarily moved to Florida untill my return to work date in spring.  Im Michigan we are required to register with Michigan Works office in person.  I was already registered with an account and online resume.  My 20 week claim is in pending status because I have not appeared in the Michigan Works office on the new claim.  I registered with the employ florida system and sent that and other paperwork to michigan via fax and the mail address but still after several weeks there is no response or direction.

I cannot make the trip up to Michigan Works to re-register which takes about 10 minutes.  I did include in my paperwork to the state a copy of my registration from the Euc claim.  Im stuck, no one answers the only 1 800 number offered for contact.  What can I do to claim my (approved) unemployment benifits at this point while I am looking for work here in florida?

I can understand the ordeal here. Not sure if you have tried the phone numbers provided in the link below.

You must pull out all stops to ensure that contact is reestablished with the labor department in MI.Also, browse the website to check for any grievance help.
