Can I collect social security retirement benefits and unemployment benefits at the same time in Florida?

I'm currently living in Ohio and am planning on moving to Florida for retirement. I have recently been laid off and drawing unemployment. Ohio laws allow the receipt of both social security and unemployment benefits without one affecting the other. What is Florida's policy on this?

As far as I am aware, Florida does not have a clause that will bar a citizen from receiving both in tandem.
Please call the general helpline of the labor department in Florida on 1-866-352-2345 for more information on this topic.
