I am to receive 6 months of salary paid as my salary has been paid while employed as a severance agreement in my employment agreement. I was laid off without cause. My employment has been officially terminated. Do I qualify for UI benefits?

Yes,you should qualify for UI benefits provided your application meets the basic requirements.
Receipt of severance pay will affect the claim filed. Please discuss this with a claims representative from the state's labor department if you decide to file.
