If I was fired in November 2013, is it to late to file unemployment January 2014?

I was fired November 5th 2013 and have not filed a claim yet.  Is it to late to do so?  I was sent out on a job during early morning hours.  The trailer I was to pull did not have working lights.  My manager has a cell phone that does not always get service where he live.  My dllemma was to take the trailer and get a ticket or or be late to the job location.  In leavin a voice message I did say a curse word and was fired.  I did not think I would qualify for benefits but spme people thought I would and told me to check it out.

There is no prescribed time line to file for UI benefits and  not really late in your case.

You may look at filing for compensation as you're unemployed.Approval depends on a range of factors that includes "reason for termination".
