I am an employee that works for the Dept of Defense and I'm accepting a voluntary early retirement incentive offer of $25,000.Can I still get unemployment compensation benefits based on Pa. Unemployment law. Does that fall under the Law ( "VLO Proviso" ) There was the case Diehl v. Unemployment Compensation Board of review that were eligible for benefits.

As you will unemployed due to a mutually agreed contact with your employer, chances are that you will not be eligible for UI benefits from the state.

However,if you're actively looking for a job and looking at employment in near future, please go ahead and speak to a representative from the labor department in PA  before you consider filing for benefits.
