I have worked part time for 9 years and my employer is forcing me to work weekends. I am obligated on weekends to child care and church. They say it is company policy but I have not worked weekends in over a year.

Depends. If you quit and apply,they may not approve benefits.
Remember, UI benefits are extended to those who become unemployed due to no fault of their own.
