1) Call your former employer and ask them. If they say yes, because they will not contest it, then ask them to put that in a letter in writing. They should have already done that for you if that is the case.
2) After you speak to the former employer then go down to the unemployment office to speak to them directly. Answers on here are not from people who actually work for the unemployment department, therefore unreliable as to the exact rules and regulations.
The phone calls and going down there are an aggravation, but not an "option", and very worth the peace of mind for yourself and your family.
