I have been given the choice, forced resignation or termination. Would I be eligible for UI benefits?
I was told that termination would listed as poor performance. However, the past five years of budgets for my department prove that this is not the truth.

Either way you must be eligible for UI benefits as you are being laid off involuntarily.

Remember,you must meet other eligibility requirements as well.
