So I have been on EUC and had $1044 left in my claim amount when the euc program was stopped. I have been filing with no interuptions beside not getting my payments due to congress. At the top of my claim screen I see this message: No money remains in your extension award. You may file a new claim after 4/5/2014.
Overpayment Balance is $0.00.
At the bottom under NON Payment Reasons I see this each week after filing it says.
03/01/2014 Benefits Exhausted $0.00
02/22/2014 Disqualifications $0.00
02/15/2014 Disqualifications $0.00
02/08/2014 Disqualifications $0.00
02/01/2014 Disqualifications $0.00
01/25/2014 Disqualifications $0.00
01/18/2014 Disqualifications $0.00
01/11/2014 Disqualifications $0.00
01/04/2014 Disqualifications $0.00
Do I just keep filing my weekly claims? When congress approves euc will it be retro-active to my claim? Or Will a new claim start once congress votes to extend or will it be off my previous claim? How will they know what to pay you if it shows as a disqualification because of congress and not due to anything I caused to disqualify my benefits? Any information you have regarding these topics would be appreciated.
