Rhode Island Unemployment Weekly Claims
To continue receiving benefits from state, you need to file weekly claims to notify the state that you –
- Are still unemployed
- Still require financial assistance
- Is actively seeking new job opportunities
- Have not earned any wages during the current week
- Require the benefit check for the current week
Delay in filing the claim will cause a delay in receiving the check. Failure to file weekly claims will lead to your benefits being discontinued. If that happens, you will have to re-activate your claims to start claiming your remaining benefits.
