  1. I am still waiting since March 28th, 2021 to receive unemployment. I’ve been calling every other week and wait for hours on hold, and the only answer I receive is to wait?! I’ve been sued by bank of america, I am closer to foreclosure, I am behind many payments. How is this possible to just wait for no reason since is showing the amount that was approved, and I have followed every single step that was required.

    • Andrei,

There will be a delay considering the number of applications that are being processed. Please continue chasing the office/check your status online at regular intervals until payments normalize.

  2. How is it possible to continue to wait for my benefits since March 28th, 2021???? How horrible this is? I have not received a penny and still waiting for it. I am close to foreclosure, but you guys don’t seem to care that we struggle financially, and it is very hard to get a job since the whole spring and summer season is full with international students.

  3. I have been waiting for 4 months now for my pandemic assistance to be approved. I have spent over 7 hours on the phone. Every time I speak to someone I am assured it will be solved within a certain amount of time: 21 days, then on the 23 business day I was told wait 5-7, and on the 8th business day after that I was told it should be approved the next day. It’s been 3 business days since then. I am beginning to think the pandemic assistance was a lie to begin with. I am being very diligent with this, but seem to be getting nowhere and given no helpful answers and empty assurances. Why can I not seem to get the help I need?

    • Joe,

I can understand your situation. There will be a delay considering the number of applications that are being processed. Please continue chasing the office/check your status online at regular intervals until payments normalize.

  4. I am having a problem with setting-up/applying for unemployment. When I sign-in everything is OK, until I enter my home address. The DEW system kicks out my address as “none existent”.

How can I overcome this problem?

  5. I am trying to find the nearest unemployment office near or in n. myrtle beach,sc.I have tried to file a claim online, but cannot navigate the website. I wish to reach a human being that will give me information on and where to apply for unemployment benefits.

    • James,

Considering the Coronavirus outbreak, applying on the website comes highly recommended. The office may have limited staffing.

  6. I need to reset my password and speak to someone on previous benefits of miss calculations and find out if I can qualify for this past two months of benefits. Thank You.
