I have been waiting for 4 months now for my pandemic assistance to be approved. I have spent over 7 hours on the phone. Every time I speak to someone I am assured it will be solved within a certain amount of time: 21 days, then on the 23 business day I was told wait 5-7, and on the 8th business day after that I was told it should be approved the next day. It’s been 3 business days since then. I am beginning to think the pandemic assistance was a lie to begin with. I am being very diligent with this, but seem to be getting nowhere and given no helpful answers and empty assurances. Why can I not seem to get the help I need?
Joe,
I can understand your situation. There will be a delay considering the number of applications that are being processed. Please continue chasing the office/check your status online at regular intervals until payments normalize.
I am trying to find the nearest unemployment office near or in n. myrtle beach,sc.I have tried to file a claim online, but cannot navigate the website. I wish to reach a human being that will give me information on and where to apply for unemployment benefits.
James,
Considering the Coronavirus outbreak, applying on the website comes highly recommended. The office may have limited staffing.
I need to reset my password and speak to someone on previous benefits of miss calculations and find out if I can qualify for this past two months of benefits. Thank You.
