You can email, the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development at

If you are calling long distance to Nashville from Tennessee or from out-of-state then you can call (615) 253-8920 (Nashville area).

If you live in Tennessee but worked in another state, you will file your claim for unemployment insurance against the state where your wages were reported. Some states, like Tennessee, take unemployment claims by telephone or over the Internet, from out of state residents. See the list for states that file unemployment claims by telephone or by Internet. If you worked in a state not listed, please contact your nearest Labor and Workforce Development Benefit Office to file your claim. For a Directory of Benefit Offices, choose Benefit Offices under the Claimant Services menu.

Weekly Certification

  • Other Tennessee Areas: 1-800-689-9799

  1. Thanks to Kimberly for the idea to call your state representatives office. I called Rusty Crowe’s office this morning. I got a return call from The Department of Labor within two hours. They took my information and said my claim was approved and I would be paid back pay within 3 to 4 days.
I had tried everything on the website and called any number I could and could not get to talk to anyone, or a reply to emails. This system is rediculious. Be sure and check to see who the representative is in your area of the state.

    1. I had to call state representative for tennessee to get my claim approved I had been trying to call since September n I know I called 150 if not more n never got through nor did I get a return call or email until I called the state representative

  2. Martin stated above that the TIPS number 615-532-1800 had been corrected on this page. It has not, and I have no internet access to certify today. Can someone please give me the correct TIPS number to certify? Thanks

  3. It’s a MIRACLE! For those that are still in “Limbo” you need to call the Tennessee State Senator’s office (Lee Harris) at 615-741-1767. I did this yesterday afternoon and as of this morning (four emails received from them)I have been approved and should receive a lump sum payment for the past six weeks within 72 hours. You’ll need to give them your claimant ID number and SSN but there are obviously some heads rolling this morning! Hallelujah Jesus!!

    Good luck all!

    1. I work in state Senator Lee Harris’ office. OUR OFFICE IS NOT THE UNEMPLOYMENT OFFICE. Their phone number is: (844) 224-5818. If you would like to speak to your state senator or state rep, you can find out who that is here:

Our office does not handle unemployment matters for individuals who are not Senator Harris’ constituents. We are more than happy to assist our constituents but we don’t have the capabilities to handle all unemployment inquiries. I hope this helps!

  4. I have been certifying my unemployment for over 10 weeks and have not received any funds whatsoever…. I have tried to contact you via email a couple of times – no response. I have called the local number, they told me to call Nashville and gave me a number that was a recording only. After reading all of the other comments, has anyone received unemployment from Tennessee. How are people supposed to live, pay their bills and such. What is the problem? What is a number I can call and talk to an actual live person who can answer questions. This is unbelievable and completely unacceptable.

    1. Dawn,

I can understand your frustration. Please note this is a private forum and we do not hold any links with the government.

Since you’ve tried calling, the next step would be to consider the option of visiting the nearest Unemployment Office for an update.

    2. I am in the same boat as all these poor people. Began weekly certifications 2nd week of October and NOT ONE PAYMENT received to date. Every week is “In Progress”. I have called every number I could get my hands on (over and over and over – same recordings), I am emailing the TN Dept of Unemployment every couple of days but can’t any response from ANY ONE!! It’s a shame our previous employers paid taxes for our displacement situations, I think there obviously needs to be a Federal Investigation. Martin’s replies are despicable, unhelpful and obviously heartless!!

      1. I am sorry you felt that way, Kimberly. We’re a private forum and cannot do much but advise. Since we receive 10s of questions in a day, we have to be crisp and to the point.

You may consider visiting the nearest Unemployment Office for an update on your claim status.

        1. Don,

The Unemployment Office might be inundated with pending requests. Please visit the website to find the answers.

  5. I’ve applied and have been doing certifications for a month now and received nothing. Every phone number I call tells me to go to the website. I’ve yet to get a response from emails that I’ve sent. This is already a stressful time without getting the run around from you all.

    1. I am sorry to hear about the situation. Please note this is a private forum and we do not have access to the systems.

If you’re not getting a response, I suggest that you consider visiting the nearest Unemployment Office for an update.

    2. I see the reply visit your local office. Well the last time I did that, you can enter a lobby and speak to someone in the office from a phone in the lobby. The doors are locked so you can’t even get in the office. They say call Nashville which is just a recording. I got my first check then there has been nothing for three weeks, but in progress. You can’t even get a simple question answered.
I even have a recall date from my employer. It is ridiculous.

      1. Ralph,

Thank you for writing. We’re a private forum and do not have access to your claim information to give you an update.

  6. i have been waiting since July 19th
I have certified every single week
I am a grandmother raising three mentally challenged children. This is ridiculous to wait this long only to hear it’s in progress. I have written letters to our state representatives and I have yet to hear anything. I can’t through to a live person. I can’t exactly take three children to a local office and wait. Two are autistic and super hard to take out with lights and noises. What can I do

    1. I am sorry to hear about the claim. Well, wish we could help you any further in this regard.

You have to find time to visit personally or send a representative to inquire about the claim status. It should not take so long.

  7. I filed for unemployment 7/19/16. I have yet to receive anything. I certify each week and have submitted everything requested. (Per UI worker) I email and/or call to check in on things but have only received an answer once, at 6 weeks and received above information and told it would take 6-8 weeks because of peak unemployment. I’m now going into week 10 still waiting….

    1. You should have not waited for so long. Please chase the office by either calling the Claims Center of visiting the nearest office.

  8. Y can I not get any damn answers about anything concerning my unemployment? I’ve done everything they ask of me, they even sent me the little unemployment debit card, but guess what. No money on it. Anyone know how to get my situation fixed?

    1. Please chase the Unemployment Office by calling the Claims Center by phone or visit the nearest office for an update.

It’s your duty to follow up for payment at frequent intervals.

  9. I live in Georgia and I have a combine wage from tn and Alabama. I have cerified for 7 weeks and still saying under review and processing. Never can reach nobody on the phone and the claim says active. How can I find out when my check with be coming. I am not in tn so I can’t go to the office.

    1. All I can advise you is to keep trying the phone lines continuously. You may call during off-peak hours as well.

Alternatively, you may log into your account online on the department’s portal.

      1. Hey Thanks for trying to help folks who unfortunately are all in desperate situations!
I didn’t see many thanks,or messages showing much appreciation here….. So Thank you for your efforts and information

  10. Hello, I’m a military spouse who had to quit my job due to orders. I know live in Georgia. I do my certifications each week and update if I get any leads on the jobs I enter. I uploaded my husbands orders and my separation notice. I’m going on week 10 now!!!??! I can’t get in touch with a LIVE person. I leave messages and within hours it as “solved” on my voicemail note located under messages? I’ve waited for over 7.5 hours on the virtual help desk, only to be disconnected. This happened 4 days in a row!!
I received one letter in the beginning that said I should get 7150.00 for 26 weeks. I set it up for direct deposit, but it still says “active issues” under payment. I wrote a letter two weeks ago and sent it in the mail. Still no word! They have people who can go in quickly and put solved on your correspondence to them, but can’t send a letter or call? It feels like they want to give you the run around so you will give up! I’m not sure what to do now? I never received a letter stating I was truly approved or if I’m doing something wrong. This is totally screwed up!

    1. It can be frustrating at times when you do not receive the right response.

Please see if you can visit the nearest office to resolve the issue.

  11. After reading other’s questions, it is obvious nobody is getting their benefits here in Tennessee, My first claim was July 2 and I have not received a payment. Do you suggest we personally visit a Department Center? Will this truly accomplish assistance? How can Tennessee justify being so behind on claims? They could offer us the jobs that someone is not doing in that department. Who above the claims staff do we need to collectively put pressure on? This is unacceptable to people who have lost jobs and qualify for these benefits.

    1. I can understand your frustration. To add to the comment, we do get quite a few queries from your state.

Perhaps, you can contact/visit the Governor’s office to lodge a complaint in this regard.

  12. I orig filed June 26, 2016. It is now Aug 24, 2016, and I have not received one check. I certified for 3 weeks..but online system has not allowed me to certify since wk ending 7/16. On line, the weekly certification review page shows those weeks to be “in progress”. I’ve sent weekly emails (4) & made weekly phone calls (4) to the 800 number. I have not received one single call back, correspondence, nor assistance despite my attempts. I need to seek out to seek assistance bc I feel this is unacceptable. Does anyone have a number for admin.?
    Thanks, Angie RN

    1. Well, since it’s a centralized service, there wouldn’t be a single phone number only.

Please try calling during non-peak hours or try to see if you can visit the nearest office.

  13. I have done five straight weeks of certifications and still no check. The online system keeps saying that it’s under review. What does that mean? And how can I find out if more information is needed from me? How much longer do I have to wait to receive a check?

    1. The first check should arrive in about 7-10 days from the time of applying.

Please call the Claims Center on the phone numbers provided for an update.

    2. Update: I had to physically go to the Unemployment Office in Metro Center, which by the way, no one can access those employees. Instead, I was told to put my name on a clip board for someone to call me. I didn’t expect to hear from anyone, but lo and behold, I was contacted. It turned out there was glitch in the system that the rep removed and the checks began coming. The first check was back dated and included all the missed weeks.

  14. I file my unemployment claim at least a month ago and I cannot get an answer from anyone regardless of how I try to find out what the problem is but my claim is not being processed or approved and I cannot figure out why. I cannot get anybody to call me back or answer my phone calls or emails. I have A 2 year old little girl that I have to take care of I have been certifying weekly as instructed but again I can’t get anybody to get in touch with me and anyway regarding the issue with my claim.

    1. I can understand your frustration, Zack. Please see if you can visit the nearest Unemployment Office for an update on your claim.

Alternatively, try logging in to your account online on the official website to see if you can find an update there.

  15. i need help with doing my certification on line i appied on may 6 2016 i have not recieved my payments yet on my paycard

    1. its been since March 22nd since i applied and ive called in and was told by the worker that she was going to have to speak with her manager becouse she couldnt figure out. My claim states i have active issues with the payment witch is the debit card they send you. What can i do next? I havnt worked and im starving!

      1. Mary,

There will an intermittent delay owing to the number of applications. Please be patient and make sure to check the status regularly.

  16. I understand to qualify for benefits, you have to lose your job through no fault of your own. As a military spouse, I know in 2012 we were approved to collect when the spouse relocates. My question is, how soon before the move can I quit to prepare for the move? His ETS date is 17 December, and we are not getting the military to move us due to the all the holidays around that time, the movers here have no open schedule during those month. I have read some states allow 30 days prior to prepare, any info would be greatly appreciated as this move will be done with just he & I.

    1. Please check further with the labor authorities in your state.

Each states administers exclusive program called the UCX for military men and their spouses.

  17. Hi my name is Shirley Freeman-Bogan I have missed 5 weeks in calling in my unemployment benefit, it said I was locked out, which I was going threw an appeal and I got my letter yesterday which was 9/8/2015 and I bet my appeal with First Choice Community Choice. So I need to catch up so I can get my 5 weeks I missed. What do I do, please help me.

  18. I was trying to file a claim online but it would not let me get past the dependent section I made sure everything was filled out but still nothing

    1. Please call the customer service of the labor dept in your state for more info.

Ensure you have filled all relevant information.

  19. I was on TN Unemployment but had gone back to work then got laid off again. I am trying to reopen my claim but have no clue if I am getting it accomplished, can’t contact a real person to talk to.

  20. I worked in TN. And GA so the online said I had to call. I have called hundreds of times, emailed and even went there . No help anywhere. What next ?

    1. Please let us know if you filed in TN or GA? If you are talking about Tennessee, we keep receiving grievances from claimants on various issues.

Perhaps, you can look forward to getting this addressed from any of the govt mechanisms available in your state.

  21. I have been trying to call everyday for 4 weeks and I can not get past the recording that they can not take my call right now. I did file my claim online but I have not heard anything. No decision nothing. My previous employer is trying to with hold benefits stating I quit even though my job was dissolved. I was informed online when I filed that I would receive a phone call to get my statement. Nothing. I’ve heard nothing at all. I know it takes at least 8 weeks to even get a check after decision has been made. I can not wait that long. Every interview I’ve been on I have been told they are looking to hire someone in 3-4 months. I’m getting desperate for answers. My house payment is almost due, my car payment, electric, water. I cant live on the street I have children. What can I possibly do?? A friend of my mothers took 6 months to get her first check. That cant be me, we wont make it.

    1. I can understand your plight. The claims processing system in Tennessee is very inefficient. Please keep following up is all I can say. We do receive a lot of questions from your state.

    2. go to:
In a grey box, the last question is: Already File A Claim/Questions. It acts like you can chat with someone, but you can’t. You have the chance to give a brief description of your problem. Got 2 emails almost immediately. In one of them it allowed me to describe my problem. Within 3 days (today) someone from the state called, I couldn’t believe it. He fixed my problem and I will get the month of January-February & March deposited in my bank account early next week and Sunday I’ll be able to file again and will get the money deposited next Tuesday. I am so happy to finally have this behind me. It worked….Good luck, there is hope….but it was a long wait.

  22. My sister and I was going to try to set up me to start receiving unemployment I did not have a way to get to a computer. so she tried to help me by using her I-pad to make a long story short I need to talk to someone who can help me get my benefits I was told several weeks ago someone would call me but as of now NO CALL!!!!! somebody please help send me a # I can call. NEED HELP!!!!!

  23. Can anyone shed some light on what someone should do if there is a “break in your claim?” I was informed by a rep at approx 3:15 ET Dec 27, 2013 that I was to certify the following Monday, Dec 30 on TIPS that I had earned wages. She said my claim would be closed and I was to contact the Claims Center to get a rep to “re-open my claim” so I could resume certifying weekly. No such luck. It is ironic, the time one should be investing looking for work is being frittered away, trying in vain to get someone to answer 1 simple question. I have also completed the forms that supposedly request rep contact from the Claims Center. I submitted one 1/8 with a proclamation that a rep would contact me within 5-7 business days. Nothing. On the 16th, I submitted another form and the notification of “Duplicate Submission” popped up. The response time is apparently delayed if another form is submitted because now that time has lengthened to 14-21 business days. Did anyone have a similar situation and did you find a resolution to this issue? Please advise. Thanks so much.

    1. I HAVE THE SOLUTION: I had a problem as well for giving a wrong answer and when I called the toll free number it would say “they couldn’t take my call at this time” very frustrating. Tried to call for a week. Then I went online, it said someone would get with me in 14 to 21 days. That was early January, here I am in March, no one has called to this day. I called the local office, they were helpful and recommended I go to:

  24. Are the local unemployment offices, the TN CAREER CENTER or is it actually called a unemployment office. All I can find when I look up into county is that?
I also have tried for a week straight to get through, last Monday I answered a question wrong, no to accepting work, and not it won’t let me certify this week.

  25. Yes, I was doing my certification on line and answered a question wrong and hit summit before I realized it and it told me that I will not be receiving my benefits because of it. It won’t let me go back and change it cannot get through on the phone to talk to anyone who can help me with this problem. It’s very frustrating when you are trying to handle problem and all it can tell you we can not take your call at this time. Do you have any suggestions please.

    1. I did my weekly certification 01/13/14. I answered the question “did you refuse any work” as yes because the company offering the job could not insure me the hours I need. I have found out that I am not required to accept just any job if it cannot provide me the pay or hours I really need. I received a certification # but it also stated that it will not be processed for payment. I have tried all day 01/13 and this morning to call for help but get the same recording that my call cannot be accepted at this time. Please help. You can call 865-382-4639 or email me. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

      1. Please follow up with the Tennessee department of labor and workforce development claims center on 1-877-813-0950.There are multiple issues with the way claims are handled by TN.We receive a lot of questions with regard to your state.

      2. go to:
In a grey box, the last question is: Already File A Claim/Questions. It acts like you can chat with someone, but you can’t. You have the chance to give a brief description of your problem. Got 2 emails almost immediately. In one of them it allowed me to describe my problem. Within 3 days (today) someone from the state called. They will retro the past 2 months. 26. I have been trying to reach someone for three weeks. I have literally been calling everyday all day. I always get the same recorded message; “We cannot take your call at this time. Please call again later.” When will it be late enough? Because of the complexity of my claim – I received one week of unemployment in August 2013 before beginning work for an out of state employer – I cannot file or reinstate a claim online. This is beyond frustrating!

    1. This seems to be an ongoing issue with TN Department of Labor and Workforce Development. Please follow up routinely is all I can say.

  27. Can not do weekly certification
Second sunday i have tried to call in
    Will not take certification
Can not get any help from anyone
    Can not talk to anyone
Can not leave a message for anyone
There seems to be no one at this unemployment
Office at all except a recording that takes no messages
    Forwards nothing
Refuses to let you speak to anyone ( no ones there )
Can not ask for a call to be returned no one their to take a call
    Are these bogus numbers?
    Is this a hoax?
I could probably get a message to the president
Before i get to speak to someone from this office

  28. The State of Tennessee UC system is absolutely disgraceful!!!! TN must have the most antiquated system. I worked in TN and live in Pennsylvania. Because of this, my situation is too complex for your system to handle. All I want to do is re-open my existing claim, something else that your system does not offer. It’s bad enough that one must wait up to 8 weeks to receive their money, but, I can not tell you the number of times I tried to speak with someone regarding my claim. In PA, I can always get a hold of a real person and when you file a claim, you get your money in 2 weeks. I plan on writing a letter to the Governor of Tennessee, although it would fall on deaf ears. It sounds to me that maybe TN should hire some of your out of work people and the claims would be processed quicker. Give me a damn number that I could speak to someone!!!! Your website states that your claim is not based on your last day worked, but, when the claim is received in the office. Another way for people to lose money if it takes 2 weeks to get a hold of someone.

    1. We understand the reason for expressing your frustration here.We are not a govt.organisation but a private website to assist you on unemployment related issues.I am not sure of the phone numbers you have been trying. You may also want to explore the option of visiting the claims center in person to raise a grievance.
You may use 1-800-689-9799 or 1-800-262-8094.

  29. is there an easier way to get through to someone to do an add claim? I’m working part time during my off season, but exceeded my benefit amount one week, now I’m on eternal hold to get back in.

  30. I’ve tried for 5 days to start unemployement. can’t get anyone to answer the phone can’t even wait hangs up on you. the last time filed I waited on the phone 2 1/2 hours. called 30 times a day ??? called every number posted. I tried to file in july and tried for 2 weeks and gave up. the system to answer calls will not let u talk to anyone.

  32. Please,e-mail me or call me I applied for unemployment online. But the system didn’t let me to
provide the correct name of my last employer (it had info from my first claim and i couldn’t change it). I send a message and someone called me and said that she correct
all this info. I didn’t get any letters that my claim denied, but i didn’t receive any
payment. I dont know what to do next. Please help.615 838-9364

  33. I would like a number to reach a LIVE operator, otherwise I am writing the Governor..Mayor or whom so I see fit. I am reviewing the forum and see this is a common problem. This is ridiculous.. I cannot complete my claim online and cannot reach anyone by phone, I Do NOT have access to a FAX machine, that is not the solution here.

  34. I have been certified for 7 weeks only recieved one letter the first 2 weeks telling me my benefit amount havent recieved even a letter telling me I am eligible and have never been able to speak to a live person need the money like everyone else whats going on now does anyone have any idea?

  35. I filed the last week of August 2013 and now it is the end of October and still in pending status. Nothing had been paid yo me for unemployment. Its been 9 weeks.
I have called all numbers and nothing even went online too.. I am getting frustrated because I have a 3 yr old and I am afraid of loosing everything and not be able to take care of him as I search for a job. Is there anything else I can do. I need to know when I am getting my unemployment.. thanks.

  36. As far as I’m concerned this is a catch 22. If you file over the phone you can’t complete the process and get locked out. If you file over the computer, you get to a stage where it tells you to call the same number. Kathy, I hate to tell you this but NONE of your answers where you state “call the local office” are of any use. As far as I can tell the system is completely automated and there isn’t a real person you can talk to about anything concerning unemployment benefits.

Find me a number with a real person on the other line, then you will have answered my question.

    1. This is not the unemployment office – I can’t see what causes your attempts to fail. Getting through to any unemployment office is difficult. Have you checked for alternate contact information – ie faxing a description of your problem to the office? If you do be sure to include your social security #, phone # and name on every page. It sounds to me as if your only other choice is to be persistent in calling – stay on hold as long as it takes.

Does your local re-employment office have a direct line to Unemployment? May be your best bet.

  37. i filed unemployment august18 2013 it now oct 8 2013 when will i get my money than on last week i hit the wrong number of hours they wouldnt let me go back now im locked out to certify weekly

    1. You need to call the local unemployment office or check the website – maybe they have alternate means of contact like fax # if you send a fax make sure your name, social security #, and phone # are on every page.

  38. When I try to certify I am told my benefit year has ended! How can I certify? A letter was received saying that I had chosen not to receive the (TUC)benefits and to remain on the emergency unemployment compensation (EUC08). The letter says to contact the agency by 9/19/2013 if I want to change this agreement. I do not understand how I can continue to draw extended benefits when I have never drawn (EUC08).The woman’s name that I spoke to on 9-11-13 was Missy! How do I certify?

  39. i have not been able to complete my unemployment application. it will not let me go any futher. It gave me a number to call that was automated and asks for ss and pin. I was never able to get far enough to make a pin, therefore it locks me out of the system and i can not complete an application that i am in intitled to and need. do you have a number with a live extention where i can have someone solve this problem and i will be able to proceed

  40. Hi. I’m trying to secure federal unemployment benefits through the phone system and all it says is that I have “exhausted all benefits” and it will not let me proceed or speak to a representative.
This process is frustrating and ineffectual.
Please let me know how I am to proceed to file my federal unemployment claim.

    1. You could check your state’s unemployment website and see if there are alternate means of contact. Fax perhaps. If you use a fax, be sure your name, social security number and phone number are on every page. Perhaps there is a link to the EUC application at the website.

      1. I cannot find a link for the federal claim for unemployment. I have not received a letter via mail regarding certification for federal benefits either as others have mentioned. I am a Tennesse resident and should be able to receive federal benefits as we have a high unemployment rate.
Still no numbers, no unemployment office as of June 2013, no instructions as to how to apply either. So terribly frustrating. Should I try to certify online now that my state benefits are exhausted?? Is that how they automatically enroll tennesseans for federal unemployment?? There are no instructions on the website

        1. is a link you might find useful – I couldn’t find a link to EUC. However, your benefits have to be exhausted before a claim for EUC can be initiated. If your claim has been stopped for some reason – by mistake even – this would prevent whatever triggers your receiving the EUC application. Please call your local office or see if there are alternate means of communication on the link provided. Always put your full name, social security number, and phone number on all correspondence. NOT HERE – THIS IS A PUBLIC WEBSITE AND NOT THE UNEMPLOYMENT OFFICE.

        2. I’m in the same boat apparently. I lost my job a month and a half ago and I can’t get through the phone system to get anyone on the line. When I call, it tells me I must put in my social security number to continue and yet when I do, it only says “there is no one available to take your call at this time…. our normal business hours are….” as if I’m calling after hours, yet every attempt has been during business days and hours. All day, every day I call to no avail. I get no answers, I never even received a debit card which was supposed to be sent out the first week of filing my claim. I called the number for the debit card and it states there was never one issued under my social security number. This leads me to believe I never got my claim filed. I had to allow a representative to file it for me because the computer system crashed halfway through my initial claim which says do not file another or you will compromise your original. So I had to call a representative and allow her to put in the information for me and who knows what she put. Now I am in a position that I have zero income, I have no savings, I have no credit cards and no family out friends that can help financially. I have no gas in my car and no food in my home and what’s worse… I have medication I need to live and I cannot afford to get it now. So I could lose my home, starve to death, my phones are being cut off in two days so I couldn’t even call if I wanted to and now I’m facing death. Nothing is scarier yet no one cares. What are we supposed to do?? Does anyone care??? I’ve never been this scared in my life and I literally have no where to turn. And I’m not even sure anyone will even read this…

  41. Itried to do certification on line and phone says my certification is up to date only certification one time

    1. Call the local office. And check for information / claim status for your claim online. Perhaps you only had 1 week of benefits left?

  42. I applied for unemployment August 1, 2013 and I can’t certify weekly because it says I may have a disqualifying answer on my application. I believe they have the last 2 employers I filed for unemployment mixed up, but I can’t reach anyone by phone (have been trying daily for 2 weeks),and can’t certify weekly. How do you get in touch with someone to get this straightened out?
    Thank you

    1. Look for alternate means of contact on the website. If you find a fax number you may use that – be sure to put your name, social security number, and phone number on each page. You might also include the information you would have entered could you have certified for the missing weeks.

  43. paul wynn is trying to certify each week but it doesn’t say he has cerified and a decision hasn’t been made…it says there is a problem with his claim but no one will answer the phone to help us figure out whats wrong…yjen they are going to say we don’t get anything because of something we did but no one will answer the phones???????4 numbers…no answers

  44. I filed around 6 weeks ago for my unemployment have not heard anything I have went online every Sunday and do my certification I have tried to contact you guys cannot get ahold of anyone please respond back and give me a answer thanks

    1. We are not affiliated with any unemployment office. Keep calling and check the website to see if they offer alternate means of contacting them – fax, email perhaps

  45. I’ve been without payment for a month and have not been told why. I am frustrated due to the fact I have two boys to take care of. Any help would be nice. The automated system is flawed if it’s this bad that a month has gone by with no answer.

  46. i wasted 3 hrs of my life to try and make a claim the computer is more ridiculous than the phone.the websites are fake.

  47. I have been trying to use the online weekly certification as well as the phone line certification and I am getting nowhere. I am constantly disconnected when I call on the phone even though it says hold for a representative. Please help me. I received a payment of $1 for this week and I don’t understand why. If I need to file an extension or if the department is missing something from me I have to be able to talk to someone to find out what is needed. Thank you.
